On Monday, March 4, 2024 Thai Wacoal PCL. and More Loop Co., Ltd. has signed a cooperation agreement to support and promote the use of leftover fabric from production according to the principles of the circular economy
Moreloop will be an intermediary space for finding and matching materials, high-quality fabrics leftover from the factory's production process. To sell it to a group of people who will process it for further use. It is a business that combines the principles of creating sustainability for the environment. Meanwhile They have applied digital technology to create their own platform very well.
Thai Wacoal has an economic framework that focuses on careful resource management. So that no part is wasted, that is, products and materials are kept for reuse, remanufacturing and recycling. As long as those resources are used in the most cost-effective way.
On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited and 19 other organizations jointly signed a MOU and opening ceremony for the project to promote the setting of targets for industrial greenhouse gas emissions, aiming for the Net Zero GHG Emission goal through method of Science Based Target setting (SBT). Organized by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), in collaboration with Excellence Circular Economy Enterprise, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University. "Under this collaboration, the company will receive technical promotion and support, Science-based target setting (SBT) consultation, and training on reporting, calculating, and quantifying the organization's greenhouse gas emissions. This includes guidance on operational procedures/technologies to achieve the Net Zero Pathway and Net Zero GHG Emission goals.
Wacoal is committed to operating its business while taking care of society, the community, and the environment. New employees participated as volunteers in a community service activity (Wacoal Spirit) under the concept of "Wacoal Invites Youths to Go Green." The initiative involved six schools in the communities surrounding the company: Wat Sai School, Wat Lat Bua Khao School, Wat Chan Nai School, Wat Phai Ngoen School, Wat Chan Nok School, and Wat Ratcha Singkhon School. The goal was to raise awareness among young people about environmental issues.

The result of the sustainability assessment reflects the company's commitment to conducting sustainable business by emphasizing environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects.

This score reflects the company's commitment to good corporate governance practices, as well as its dedication to conducting business in a balanced manner, aligning with sustainable development guidelines across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.
