



Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited was established through joint-venture investments between Saha Pathanapibul Company Limited and Wacoal Corporation of Japan on October 1, 1970, as the first ladies’ lingerie products manufacturer on an industrial basis in Thailand. In 1983, the company became a listed company on The Stock Exchange of Thailand, and later on in 1994 was transformed into a public company.
Today, the company is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of ladies’ apparel products, covering the range of ladies’ lingerie, ladies’ outerwear, and children wear, with ladies’ lingerie category serving as the core product group for the company.
With regard to the distribution of its products to the domestic market, I.C.C. International Public Company Limited is the company’s major customer. Whereas for its export business operations, the company exports its products to affiliated companies under Wacoal Corporation, to major country destinations such as Japan, the U.S., and ASEAN countries.
Wacoal Reinforces Commitment to Thai Women with 25th Year of “Wacoal Pink Ribbon – Fight Breast Cancer”
Continuing to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention
Bangkok – Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited, a leading global lingerie brand, reaffirms its mission to support women’s health with the 25th anniversary of its signature campaign, “Wacoal Pink Ribbon – Fight Breast Cancer.” The initiative continues to promote breast cancer awareness, early detection, and timely treatment to help reduce mortality rates among Thai women.
The event, held at Thai Wacoal headquarters, featured a lecture by medical experts from Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital, hands-on breast self-examination training, and free preliminary screenings for over 100 participants, including employees, community members, and partner organizations.
Over the past 25 years, the campaign has reached more than 3,000 participants. This year, Wacoal, in collaboration with the Raks Thai Foundation, is expanding the program to four eastern provinces—Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat—to broaden outreach and knowledge sharing.
In addition, Wacoal has continuously introduced initiatives to improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients, such as funding Thailand’s first mobile mammography unit, donating advanced medical equipment, launching the “Hat from Heart” project to support chemotherapy patients, and providing Balancing Bras and prosthetic breasts to help post-surgery patients regain confidence in their daily lives.
Wacoal joined hands with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital to support the “Healthy City Run” at Rama IX Bridge Park, providing parking for 200 cars, 550 meal sets, and Lucky Draw prizes This initiative reflects Wacoal’s commitment to promoting health, wellness, and community spirit in Thailand
Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited has been awarded the CoolMode Label Certificate for its Race’ Uniform products by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO), in collaboration with the Thailand Textile Institute.
The CoolMode label certifies that the uniforms are made from fabrics designed for thermal comfort and breathability, suitable for indoor wear at 25°C without causing discomfort. This helps reduce air conditioning usage and contributes to lower indirect greenhouse gas emissions.
This achievement reflects Thai Wacoal’s continued commitment to developing comfortable, energy-efficient products and supporting Thailand’s goal of achieving Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
