Sun Helmets and Donation Box giving ceremony to 50 districts around Bangkok to campaign people in Thailand 4.0 to reduce overflow garbage.
Mr. Boondee Amnuayskul Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited talked about continuing the project ,Wacoal Bra Day, Valuable Bra, Make Career, Save Environment Year 7th that Thai Wacoal intend to operate under the mission about social responsibility together with sign the declaration about ,Save Bangkok, Save Environment, to be an environment party network of Bangkok and also participated the campaign for World Environment Day 2018 under the topic "Beat Plastic Pollution" that is consist with purpose to promote Bangkok to be sustainable green metropolis in a long term.
By giving donation box to 50 districts in Bangkok, deteriorate lingerie can be brought and recycled in the right way that make more environmentally friendly. Furthermore, Thai Wacoal realize about people who are wire-puller of Bangkok so we gave 4,400 sun helmets for supporting road sweeper and also people who take care of our town. Moreover, these helmets were sewn by women from Occupational Center, Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali that made income for them as well. Wacoal Bra Day, Valuable Bra, Make Career, Save Environment was managed under concept "Zero Waste" to reduce causes of global warming and "Social Enterprise" to make career, income and to encourage for women from occupational center as well.
"We believe that collaboration between Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali, Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited is important step to integrate government and private section to organize project about environment which is important occasion of nation to drive people save the world, realize about the problem and stop destroying environment and our world" said by Mr. Boondee Amnuayskul. About donation box, is going to set at 50 districts and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration started from now until September 19, 2019 for 1 year so please be invited to donate deteriorate bra for our Bangkok to has good environment and be the metropolitan where we pleasant to live.
On September 6, 2018 Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited participated the event for CAC day under the concept "Awake Thais Against Cheating" organized by Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand with government, private section and citizen for supporting Thai people in every section to change themselves by do not ignore and brave enough to resist any cheating in every way to fight and protect advantage for our country. Also realize that Thais can overcome the corruption and go to the good future together. Chairman of Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand, Pramon Sutivong who is chairman of this event said "Corruption is long-term problem for a long time. If everyone see the problem but ignore it that means you are destroying our country so collaborate and participate from every section can let the corruption out of our country which can raise our economy and society as well. In that day there is also public speech"Awake Thais Against Corruption" by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kasem Wattanachai together with giving shield award to praise 7 role models who fight with the corruption.
As a lingerie organization, we realize about women health for 16 years to safe Thai people from breast cancer by collaboration from Public - Private and Thai people to make campaign, to protect and to support through various activities. For example, donating bra and breast implants for underprivilged patients by Wacoal Balancing Bra Donation Project. Also donate supporting money and buy medical equipments to public health organization. Wacoal Pink Ribbon Against Breast Cancer in community was held since 2012 - 2017 (for 6 years).
August 16, 2018 Wacoal Pink Ribbon Against Breast Cancer was organized at Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited for employee and keep continue the concept "Public " Private Collaboration to response the policy of Saha Group for community to be a project under the name of " Public - Private Collaboration Against Breast Cancer " on August 19, 2018 at Chareonkrung 89. Event's objective is to educate people, make them understand about breast cancer and provide basic screening from expert doctors and nurses. Also has public speech "Knowledge about breast cancer" before demonstrate and teach them how to check their breast by themselves from expert nurses of National Cancer Institute. Moreover, to give information about nutrient and eating behavior to save themselves from cancer and also giving information about special lingerie for patient with breast surgery by Wacoal Body Clinic as well.
Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited received 4 innovation awards from Saha Group Innovation Contest 2018. The awards were as follows:
The 1st Place Outstanding Award, in Product Category, was from "TRAVEL BRA" innovation, representing lingerie for girls who love travelling, which is foldable, wireless, and comfortable to wear with no pressure from the wire frame for flexible movement.The first innovation in Thailand that is natural material "rubber" has a special quality of rubber sheet which is foldable and can be restored to its original shape. It is also flexible, easy to care, space-saving, and easy to carry for all travels. Blended with lingerie, this has become the base instead of wire frame to reduce any pain from pressure, support and uplift beautiful breasts shape. This innovation also received the 2nd Place Outstanding Abstract Award.
The 2nd Place Outstanding Award, in Energy Saving & Global Warming & Environment Category, was from "Wacoal Eco Factory" innovation, representing an integrated supply chain management system, resulting in zero emission, resources and energy efficiency, good environment management system, reliable product activities, and symbiosis with stakeholders.
The 1st Place Outstanding Award, in Petty Award Category, was from "Right Attachment" innovation, representing the development of sewing machine attachment, created to enhance efficiency for sewing balancing bra, increasing productivity and reducing raw material loss.
The Admiration Award, in Product Category, was from "Body Base Burn Edition" innovation, representing an innovative VISCOMAGIC fabric with a special technique of Burn out printing, which is a soluble fiber, results in thinner and more elastic fabric at the soluble fiber area. This feature allows thickness - thinness at different levels and stretch in the desired position instead of sewing. It also smoothens without irritation on the same fabric.
