Thai Wacoal in collaboration with 25 leading organizations in Thailand, jointly announced the success of PMUC, V-GREEN and TISI in promoting leading companies through the first-ever implementation of CEMS standards in Thailand.

On March 5th, 2024 Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited, one of the 26 leading organizations in the project for developing audit and certification systems for circular economy management to promote circular economy policy, participated in the press conference 'CIRCULAR ECONOMY: From Policy to Practice for Business Organizations.' The announcement of success in promoting the first 26 companies to pass the Circular Economy Management System (CEMS) standards. And has developed Certifying Body and evaluators for circular economy management for organizations of over 500 personnel. By Center of Excellence on Environmental strategy for green business, Faculty of Environment, Kasetsart University or V-GREEN, collaborated with the Thailand Industrial Standards Institute Ministry of Industry (TISI), under the support of The Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC).

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Thai Wacoal Public Company Limited and 19 other organizations jointly signed a MOU and opening ceremony for the project to promote the setting of targets for industrial greenhouse gas emissions, aiming for the Net Zero GHG Emission goal through method of Science Based Target setting (SBT). Organized by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), in collaboration with Excellence Circular Economy Enterprise, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University. "Under this collaboration, the company will receive technical promotion and support, Science-based target setting (SBT) consultation, and training on reporting, calculating, and quantifying the organization's greenhouse gas emissions. This includes guidance on operational procedures/technologies to achieve the Net Zero Pathway and Net Zero GHG Emission goals.
